You know those books that leave you feeling fulfilled and inspired? This book made me want to go back in and find the ending I was missing. The Beginning og Everything marked off "set in a high school" for me.

The next installment in my reading challenge was The Beginning of Everything by Robyn Schneider. For the most part, it was enjoyable, though fairly predictable in the way Hallmark movies are. I really enjoyed the quirkiness of Cassidy and the down-to-earth-ness of Ezra. Other characters were either pleasantly distinct or completely one-dimensional. What got me was the ending - I actually checked to see if there was more after the Acknowledgements because I couldn't believe that's where the story ended. Laudable for finally not following my predictions but to me, completely unsatisfying.
