I had to be intentional about choosing the book to fulfill "less than 200 pages". Most of the books on my TBR list are longer than that! I actually got this book - Isabelle Day Refuses to Die of. a Broken Heart by Jane St. Anthony - from the "free" shelf of my library several months ago.
I think this book certainly has its place, I'm just not sure it was the right time for me. It was a lovely story of overcoming loss and starting over but definitely geared towards a younger audience. Which I think is a wonderful idea - just like I said, maybe not for me.
However, I will say that I LOVED the cover. The art style is simple and elegant and the color scheme is unusual and eye-catching. Unfortunately, the cover just drew me in more than the story did.
