A book I own but have never read is City of Lost Souls by Cassandra Clare.
I had read through books 1-4 several years ago (this one is book 5). After buying the first one at the Moravian Book shop, I just started collecting them as I read. Since this process made the time between books longer rather than shorter, I started missing details and losing interest in the story. Since being stuck at home for several weeks, I picked up the series again and enjoyed it much more this time. And it finally got me through book 5 as well as making me wonder where I can now go to now for book 6...
